WHAT YOU'LL DO
LEAD, INSPIRE & DEVELOP YOUR COACHING TEAM
- Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing coaching team.
- Set the standard for exceptional coaching, professionalism, energy, and member engagement.
- Provide ongoing feedback, coaching evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
- Create a positive, supportive, and accountable team environment.
- Lead regular coaching meetings and training sessions.
- Hold coaches accountable to Orangetheory Fitness standards while helping them reach their full potential.
DELIVER AN EXCEPTIONAL FITNESS EXPERIENCE
- Lead dynamic, engaging, and motivating Orangetheory Fitness workouts.
- Ensure every class delivers a consistent, high-quality member experience.
- Build meaningful relationships with members and understand their individual fitness goals.
- Provide proper exercise modifications, form corrections, and personalized encouragement.
- Create an inclusive, welcoming environment for members of all fitness levels.
- Inspire members to challenge themselves, celebrate progress, and achieve results.
DRIVE MEMBER ENGAGEMENT & RETENTION
- Partner with the Studio Manager to improve member satisfaction, attendance, and retention.
- Build strong relationships that create a sense of community and belonging.
- Help introductory guests feel welcomed, supported, and excited to become members.
- Identify opportunities to increase member participation and engagement.
- Support studio events, fitness challenges, and community-building initiatives.
- Help create an environment where members genuinely look forward to every workout.
LEAD STUDIO PERFORMANCE & ACCOUNTABILITY
- Collaborate with studio leadership to achieve membership, attendance, and retention goals.
- Monitor coaching performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain coaching schedules and ensure appropriate class coverage.
- Ensure all coaching practices meet Orangetheory Fitness brand and safety standards.
- Take ownership of the overall quality and consistency of the studio's fitness experience.
- Lead by example with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We want someone who brings more than fitness knowledge. We're looking for someone with the personality, leadership ability, and passion to inspire both members and employees.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Experience coaching group fitness classes or leading personal training sessions.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop other coaches.
- A nationally recognized fitness certification accepted by Orangetheory Fitness.
- Current CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it before coaching.
- A strong understanding of exercise science, anatomy, and safe training techniques.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and motivational skills.
- High energy, a positive attitude, and an engaging personality.
- A genuine passion for fitness, wellness, and helping people achieve their goals.
- The ability to provide constructive feedback and hold team members accountable.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends based on studio needs.
Previous Orangetheory Fitness coaching experience or fitness leadership experience is a plus.

Compensation: $40.00 - $80.00 per hour

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
