Orangetheory Fitness is looking for an energetic, motivated Full-Time Group Fitness Coach & Sales Associate to join our team. This unique role combines two of the most important parts of our studio: leading incredible workouts and creating an exceptional member experience.
You'll spend part of your time on the studio floor motivating members through our science-backed, technology-tracked workouts and part of your time building relationships, welcoming new guests, and helping people discover why Orangetheory can become an important part of their lives.

As a Group Fitness Coach, You Will:
- Lead and motivate members through Orangetheory's coach-inspired, science-backed workouts
- Create an energetic, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every member feels seen and supported
- Help members set and achieve their fitness goals
- Coach proper form and technique and provide modifications when needed
- Understand and communicate the science behind heart-rate-based training
- Demonstrate and safely utilize all equipment used during workouts
- Learn and deliver Orangetheory's workout programming with confidence and enthusiasm
- Build relationships with members and contribute to a strong studio community
- Work collaboratively with the coaching and sales team
- Continue developing your coaching skills and fitness knowledge
As a Sales & Experience Associate, You Will:
- Greet every member and guest with energy and enthusiasm
- Create a welcoming experience from the moment someone walks through the door
- Share the Orangetheory story and educate prospective members about our workouts and membership options
- Lead studio tours and help new guests feel comfortable and excited
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
- Support new members through their introductory workout experience
- Follow up with prospective members and help convert leads into new members
- Sell memberships and contribute to studio sales goals
- Build meaningful relationships with members and prospective members
- Participate in local outreach, community events, and marketing initiatives
- Help keep the studio clean, organized, and ready for members
- Support coaches and the studio team wherever needed
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Is genuinely passionate about fitness and helping people
- Is positive, energetic, outgoing, and approachable
- Loves connecting with people and building relationships
- Is comfortable motivating a room full of people
- Has strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and in writing
- Is confident talking about fitness and comfortable asking for the sale
- Is goal-oriented and motivated by personal and team success
- Is dependable, professional, and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Wants to grow professionally and take on additional responsibility over time
Fitness, sales, or customer service experience is a plus — but attitude, energy, and a genuine desire to help people are just as important.
Coaching Requirements
To serve as an Orangetheory Fitness Coach, you must:
- Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness
- Maintain current AED/CPR certification
- Be able to safely demonstrate and coach the exercises and equipment used in Orangetheory workouts

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
