Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, driven, and highly organized Marketing & Social Media Intern to support our studio’s brand presence and community engagement. This role is perfect for someone passionate about fitness, content creation, and local marketing who wants hands-on experience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

Assist in planning and executing monthly content calendars
Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms (posts, reels, stories)
Capture in-studio photos and videos of workouts, members, and events
Monitor comments and messages; engage with followers in a timely and brand-aligned manner

Content Creation & Branding

Design graphics, captions, and promotional materials aligned with Orangetheory branding
Highlight member success stories, coach spotlights, and studio culture
Assist with email marketing campaigns and promotional messaging

Community Engagement & Events

Support planning and execution of in-studio events, challenges, and partnerships
Help build relationships with local businesses and community organizations
Attend events to capture content and promote studio initiatives

Marketing Support

Track and report on social media performance metrics
Assist with grassroots marketing efforts (flyers, partnerships, outreach)
Brainstorm creative campaigns to drive memberships and retention

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Strong interest in social media, branding, and content creation
Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and short-form video platforms
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.) preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Energetic, positive, and comfortable in a fitness studio environment

About Us

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
