Member Experience Specialist (Sales Associate) – Orangetheory Fitness Murfreesboro

Pay: $14-$16/hr base + commission
Schedule:
Morning: 4:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Evening: 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM (M–F)
Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Must be available for either shift and weekends

What You’ll Do

This role blends customer experience + sales performance:

Greet every member and guest with energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism
Build genuine relationships that turn first-time visitors into long-term members
Confidently present and sell gym memberships, guiding prospects to the right fit
Follow up on leads, make calls, and book intro classes—not afraid of the phones
Consistently ask for the sale and close memberships
Support coaches and ensure a seamless studio experience during classes
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment
Represent Orangetheory at community events and outreach opportunities

Experience Preferred:

Sales, retail, or customer service experience
Experience selling memberships, fitness services, or similar is a plus

About Us

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
