What You’ll Do as a Fitness Coach
You’re not just running a workout—you’re leading an experience.
- Lead and energize members through science-backed, pre-designed Orangetheory workouts
- Coach proper form, provide real-time feedback, and ensure a safe training environment
- Deliver a high-energy group fitness experience that keeps members engaged and motivated
- Build strong relationships with members to support retention and community
- Help members set goals, track progress, and celebrate results
- Confidently demonstrate and coach all studio equipment
- Apply the science of heart-rate–based interval training in every class
- Show up as a positive leader and collaborative team player
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of group fitness coaching experience
- Background in personal training, group fitness instruction, or fitness coaching
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to command a room
- Current fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.)
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- High energy, confidence, and comfort leading groups in a dynamic environment

Compensation: $20.00 - $65.00 per hour

About Us
Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
