As the Head Fitness Coach, you play a key role in supporting the coaching team and helping maintain the high-energy, results-driven environment our members love.

We’re looking for someone who leads by example, thrives in a team environment, and is passionate about creating an exceptional workout experience for both members and coaches.

As the Head Coach, you will serve as a studio leader, helping coordinate the coaching team, maintain class excellence, and support studio operations.

Responsibilities

Lead Exceptional Classes

Deliver high-energy Orangetheory workouts while motivating members to reach their potential
Ensure members are exercising safely with proper form and technique
Demonstrate and guide the use of all studio equipment

Support the Coaching Team

Assist with coordinating the coaching schedule
Help ensure classes are properly staffed and support coverage when coaches are unavailable
Serve as a resource for coaches and help maintain strong team communication

Studio Leadership

Lead by example in delivering the Orangetheory experience
Help maintain a positive, supportive coaching culture
Support consistent workout delivery and coaching standards

Member Experience

Build relationships with members and create a welcoming environment
Help members understand the science behind heart-rate based training and Orangetheory workouts

Requirements

Nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or other NCCA-accredited certification)
Current CPR/AED certification
Group fitness or personal training experience
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to motivate and inspire members in a group fitness setting

About Us

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
