Position Overview
OTF is looking for part-time Fitness Coaches to lead our coach-inspired, science-backed, and technology-tracked workouts.

- Compensation: $25 to $55 per session includes +bonus for certified personal trainers, plus hourly structure.

Day In The Life of a Fitness Coach:
- Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts
- Help members set and achieve goals
- Make sure members are using correct form and offering options
- Understand the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
- Know how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
- Have the passion to be a part of a community
Requirements
- We REQUIRE a national fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or NCCA accredited equivalent).
- We’re looking for individuals who can genuinely connect with and motivate others.
About Orangetheory Fitness
- Orangetheory is a 1-hour, full-body heart rate zone and strength training workout that delivers a more personalized experience in a group setting. Designed to be effective and efficient, our workout classes boost metabolism, burn fat and calories, build strength and confidence, and improve overall fitness.
Orangetheory Fitness Hiring Process

- Must have a current CPR certification
- After the telephone interview, we will schedule an in person mic audition using our script
- Once your have successfully completed the mic audition, will will prepare you for OTF coach certification
- Prepare for a 4-5 day training schedule in Nashville.

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
