Studio Director – Orangetheory Fitness East Longmeadow

Location: East Longmeadow, MA
Type: Full-Time, In-Person (40 Hours/Week)

Are you passionate about fitness, community, and leadership? Orangetheory Fitness East Longmeadow is looking for a high-energy, people-focused Studio Director to lead our studio in both fitness and business operations.

As Studio Director, you’ll wear a few hats—coach, mentor, community builder, and business leader. You’ll work closely with both the fitness and sales teams to deliver an exceptional member experience, grow our studio, and strengthen the culture that makes OTF so special.

What You'll Do:

Coach Inspiring Workouts: Lead Orangetheory fitness classes that energize, challenge, and connect with members.
Lead the Team: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and coaches.
Drive Studio Growth: Take ownership of sales and retention goals, hitting KPIs through smart strategy and strong leadership.
Strengthen the Community: Build authentic relationships with members and foster a welcoming, inclusive culture.
Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure the studio runs smoothly—from cleanliness and equipment to scheduling and staffing.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Communicate regularly with corporate and regional partners to align on goals and expectations.
Create a Healthy Culture: Prioritize team well-being and keep the vibe high-energy, professional, and fun.

What We're Looking For:

Current, nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, etc.)
Up-to-date and non-expired AED/CPR certification
Minimum 2 years of experience coaching group fitness or personal training clients
Experience leading or managing a team (management experience strongly preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Goal-driven mindset with a solid understanding of KPIs and member retention
Must be available to work some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
