Regional Fitness Manager - Thrive Venture Group
The Regional Fitness Manager is responsible for ensuring operational excellence and delivering the Orangetheory Fitness (OTF) product consistently across studio locations within their designated territory with Thrive Venture Group. This leader will drive fitness execution through coach development, ongoing training, and fostering a culture of camaraderie and collaboration.

This leader will drive fitness execution through coach development, ongoing training, and fostering a culture of camaraderie and collaboration.
Key responsibilities include providing fitness leadership, facilitating education and development for studio coaches, and reinforcing the highest standards of fitness excellence. The Regional Fitness Manager will evaluate, certify, and sign off on coaches who meet established prerequisites and demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the OTF coaching role.
Additionally, the Regional Fitness Manager will lead fitness launch training for new studio openings, working closely with the Regional Sales & Operations Manager to ensure a seamless and successful opening process. This role requires a high standard of coaching excellence, staff development, and a strong commitment to upholding the Orangetheory brand and fitness experience.
As a Regional Fitness Manager you can expect to perform the following duties:
- Provide fitness leadership, coaching development, and continued education across all studios within the designated territory.
- Evaluate, certify, and sign off on OTF Coaches who meet established prerequisites and demonstrate the required skills and knowledge.
- Conduct ongoing coach evaluations, workshops, and training sessions to ensure consistency and excellence in coaching delivery.
- Lead fitness training and onboarding for new studio openings in collaboration with the Regional Sales & Operations Manager.
- Serve as the primary fitness resource for studio managers, head coaches, and coaching teams within the region.
- Partner with studio leadership to identify development needs and create action plans to improve coach performance.
- Foster a culture of camaraderie, teamwork, and accountability among coaches and studio staff.
- Recruit, hire, onboard strong nationally certified coaches.
- Support the implementation of new fitness initiatives, programming, and product updates to ensure a consistent member experience.
- Monitor and uphold compliance with OTF fitness standards, policies, and safety protocols. Identify optimal class schedules and make adjustments as necessary.
- Provide in-studio coaching support as needed to maintain operational excellence.
- Collaborate with Regional and Studio Leadership on fitness-related feedback, performance conversations, and developmental opportunities.
- Stay current on industry trends, fitness techniques, and OTF programming updates to continuously elevate the coaching experience.
Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:
- Hold and maintain both a AED/CPR certification and a nationally accredited fitness certification from one of the companies approved by Orangetheory Fitness.
- 5+ years in the fitness industry required.
- 2-5 years in mult-unit experience preferred.
- Experience in fitness leadership is required.

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism.
