Personal Trainer / Group Fitness Coach

Responsibilities:

Lead High-Energy Workouts:
- Deliver engaging and results-driven Orangetheory Fitness workouts that combine cardiovascular and strength training elements using a treadmill, water rower, and weight floor equipment.
- Motivate and inspire members to reach their maximum potential by coaching to the OTbeat heart rate monitor technology.
- Provide personalized feedback and modifications based on individual fitness levels.
- Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques to ensure the safety and effectiveness of workouts.
Member Engagement:
- Build strong connections with members by fostering a positive and supportive fitness community.
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests by helping them book workouts.
- Conduct Fitness Assessments with members to help them define and create a plan to reach their fitness goals.
- Address member questions, concerns, and provide guidance on fitness-related matters.
Member Retention + Growth:
- Lead studio preview tours with new guests and members.
- Conduct telephone inquiries, follow-up calls, and customer care calls.
- Take a proactive approach to achieving daily, weekly, monthly sales and performance goals.
- Maintain a professional and impeccably clean studio for guests and team members.

Qualifications:

Personal training or group fitness instruction certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, etc.).
CPR and AED certifications are required.
Strong motivational and coaching skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Passion for fitness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Compensation:

$50,000 + per year for full-time team members in the studio 35 hours / week.

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
