As Head Coach, you'll be the fitness leader of the studio. You'll lead from the front — coaching members, developing coaches, setting the standard, and creating an experience that keeps people coming back.

What You'll Do
Lead the Coaching Team
- Serve as the fitness leader and role model for the Cleveland Park studio.
- Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and develop coaches.
- Set the standard for exceptional coaching and member experience.
- Provide feedback and coaching to help every coach become better.
- Build a positive, accountable, collaborative coaching culture.
- Help maintain a strong and effective coaching schedule and team.
Coach & Motivate Members
- Lead members through Orangetheory's pre-designed workouts with energy, confidence, and enthusiasm.
- Create an environment where every member feels challenged, supported, and successful.
- Coach proper form and technique and provide appropriate corrections.
- Modify exercises when appropriate to help members train safely and effectively.
- Build genuine relationships with members and recognize their progress.
- Bring the energy that makes people want to come back tomorrow.
Be the Fitness Expert
- Understand and confidently communicate the science behind Orangetheory's workouts.
- Understand heart-rate-focused training and how it applies to different fitness levels.
- Know every piece of equipment used in Orangetheory workouts and demonstrate proper use.
- Stay current on fitness trends and training principles.
- Represent Orangetheory as a knowledgeable, passionate fitness professional.

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
