Technical Project Manager

 The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for driving complex, high priority Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) projects, or component phases of larger enterprise programs. In this role you are accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. You will lead and coordinate projects across focus areas such as Software, Database and API development for our platform, CRM, mobile and/or website teams.

  • Handle the overall management of the project teams including planning, directing, and coordinating activities, to ensure technical solutions are implemented in a timely manner, and goals and objectives are accomplished 
  • Develop and review project scopes, considering resources, and technological constraints with consideration to business impacts and identified risks 
  • Create and execute project plans and roadmaps; revising as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements 
  • Develop project standards and improving existing processes when applicable 
  • Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to project teams 
  • Collaborate with the various functional team within the Technology department 
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users   
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or relevant work experience 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a complex engineering and product culture
  • Must have software development project management experience
  • Sound analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations, and progress reports
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence 
  • Proficiency with online content management systems
  • Project management and production experience for medium to large products on web and mobile sites from start to finish
  •  Modern application architecture including APIs, microservices, containers, queuing, logging/monitoring, zero-trust security, SQL/No-SQL datastores
  • Agile project planning (scrum, story pointing, grooming/backlog management, etc)
  • Program management ceremonies around kickoffs, milestones, and re-calibration events
  • Governed software deployment across multiple SDLCs with testing/rollback; CI/CD principles
  • Operationalizing production systems including training, support, documentation, monitoring
  • Basic database concepts and SQL
  • ETL, BI and data warehouse programs
  • Cloud environments such as AWS
This position may require occasional travel as needed

This is a full-time position located at the Grove office in Boca Raton, FL

  • Remote optional: Mondays and Fridays
  • On-site days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
